Account Data: Name, Email, Phone number (for WhatsApp alerts), and standard educational qualifications.
OAuth Data: For users signing in via Google, GitHub, or LinkedIn, we receive your verified email and profile photo. We do not access your friend lists or repositories.
Learning Telemetry: Code execution outcomes, MCQ test scores, video playback completion, and study note engagement to refine our curriculum.

2. How We Use Your Information

To orchestrate your bootcamp roadmap and grant you access to proprietary study materials and video lectures.
To dispatch critical updates like live-class Zoom links, mentor assignment changes, and urgent batch announcements (via email and MSG91 WhatsApp APIs).
To advocate for your recruitment by forwarding authorized resumes to our network of 250+ tech hiring partners.

3. Data Sharing & Third Parties

Tekaro operates strictly against selling student data. Data sharing is heavily audited and limited strictly to core services:

Hiring Partners: Your comprehensive portfolio (projects, GitHub links, DSA stats) is shared with corporate recruiters only when you explicitly opt-in during placement drives.
Infrastructure Providers: We use Google Cloud for our securely encrypted PostgreSQL databases and CDN systems to ensure lag-free access globally.

4. Security Infrastructure

Your data security is paramount. Tekaro's backend runs on robust Express.js infrastructure. We hash all passwords using high-work-factor bcrypt. Financial transactions are conducted entirely through secure gateway partners (we never touch or store your direct credit card numbers). All client-server communication forces minimum TLS 1.2 encryption.

Correct inaccuracies in your educational or personal history.
